What I did for Christmas vacation...
I also cobbled this fermentation chamber together from a discarded dorm fridge that uses Peltier chillers and some insulation board. I use a thermowell immersed in my fermenter with an Inkbird temp controller. I also have a carboy warmer so it can cool or warm based on the temp of the wort inside the fermenter.
Cheap and effective!

Is the discarded dorm fridge not working anymore? Are you only using the Peltier chillers for keeping cold?

Yes, only using the Peltiers for cold. And also I had to pretty much destroy the fridge to get them out and pull the wires. It seems they assemble the fridge, then blow it full of the insulation foam which made it a big mess to take apart.
