As I mentioned at the meeting last night, Pink Boots Society has opened up a new membership option for home brewers of beer and other fermented beverages. Formerly, membership has been restricted to pros. They have now created the Alchemist membership to encourage women and non-binary home brewers to gather for camaraderie and to share ideas and learn about brewing. Annual membership is $30 and allows access to virtual webinars, chapter meetings, and mentorships. The New Jersey chapter is led by Pola Galie, owner and brewer of Lower Forge in Medford. We currently meet every other month at a brewery, winery, distillery or meadery. The next meeting is scheduled to be held at Blue Rascal Distillery in Hammonton tentatively on July 22. Meetings are a fun get together where we discuss anything and everything, brewing related and not.
