Loose rubber on keg?

I’ve read that 3m makes a rubberized cement that works best, and gorilla glue does a decent job as well.

Well for my working kettles not fantastic. BUTi will say that they are filled with hot water multiple times per day and get a lot more wear and tear than any homebrew kegs should be having on a daily basis. So I’d think it would hold up really well for them. Not so much on my line cleaning kettles
