As I am sure everyone knows, Jimmy Carter passed away yesterday. What you may not know was that it was his action to make brewing in small quantities for personal use legal. It was the birth of home brewing and ultimately of the craft brewing industry. A very good video came out today in the WSJ that chronicles this history.
